Waterloo Ontario P1, P3, A1, and Car 23 were dispatched to 111 Abbotswood Ct for a car on fire in the garage June 5, 2017 at 11:15. Car 23 requested an additional pumper on route. P3 reported they could see a thermal column a mile from the fire. They arrived on scene to a fully involved two-bay garage with possible extension into the house. Firefighters pulled a 2.5” and 1.75” line to attack the fire, with 3% foam. The fire was knocked down quickly with no extension into the house. Damage has been pegged at $175,000. Photos and video shot during overhaul, 25 minutes into the call. Box 690 provided rehab.

Working fire in Cicero, IL – July 3, 2016

On July 3rd, 2016 the Cicero Fire Department received numerous calls of a structure fire at 38th and 58th Ave. at approximately 1600 hours. A full response was issued, with Engine 3 being first-due. They confirmed that this was a fully-involved garage fire at 3801 S. 58th Ave. The firefighters had a quick knock on the fire. The following units were on scene; Engine 2, Engine 3, Truck 1, Truck 2, Ambulance F-14, and Chief F-12.
