On April 13th, 2023, the Indianapolis Fire Department had a Box Alarm for a fire in an occupied house @ 725 N Riley Ave on Indy’s Eastside. I live just a few blocks away and made it there with the first company. Fire was in a 2.5-sty, wood-frame with heavy fire in the rear extending up to the attic. Engine 20 stretched a 1.75″ line and made a quick push to the rear. Most of the fire was knocked down within a couple minutes. The full gallery is on our site.

Detroit FD (MI) Box Alarm on 2/21/23 @ 2124 Eastlawn Street X Kercheval Ave. Engine 52 stretched on a vacant dwelling going throughout. We got there pretty quick and got Engine 58 dumping their monitor. Companies on the box hit it from the outside for a few minutes but then made an aggressive push and knocked down the rest of the fire.

Detroit (MI) firefighters at the scene of a Box in Southwest Detroit on 2/20/23 at 9137 Falcon Street X Elsmere Street. Engine 33 advised they were stretching on a dwelling going throughout. Upon our arrival, companies were attempting to make a push through the front door, but were ordered out of the house b/o Chief 7. This appeared to be an occupied house that was firebombed. Engine 33 stretched, and Engine 37 fed Ladder 13 for tower operations.
