Fire scenes are fascinating events which capture the attention of everyone who happens upon them. The drama of potential life altering events, the danger which threatens firefighters, and the often spectacular nature of the smoke and flames is captivating.
There are literally hundreds of individuals regularly photographing fire scenes throughout this country. These include professional photographers, hobbyists, serious amateurs, and the passerby. Many people have websites or galleries of their own, others are just looking for an outlet to share what their images.
FireScenes.Net is a new portal to showcase these fire scenes. This is not an exclusive venue. All postings link back to the photographer’s sites where galleries often show much more in-depth coverage. If images are available for purchase, transactions are conducted with the individual photographers.
FireScenes.Net is not a news organization. Though we may post images of scenes as they occur or in their immediate aftermath, that is not our primary goal. Instead we hope to provide readers with a place to find images and information about fires large and small without having to scour the web to find them.
All images are owned by the photographer who created them. All rights to use, copy, or reproduce these images are reserved by the photographers who created them. No use or copying of images posted on this site is permitted without the written permission of the photographer who owns the image.
Hi Larry, please change the info on my latest photos from house fire in Kitchener to house fire in Woolwich Township, thanks
Gary Dinkel
I just want to Firescenes.net to email me of any new posts similar to what Chicago Area Fire’s website does. I could not find where to sign up for those notifications without commenting on a story. So this is my comment. Thanks!
