North Cliff St. 2nd Alarm Fire (Ansonia, CT) 12/20/24
ANSONIA, CT – At approximately 9:30pm on December 20, 2024, the Ansonia Fire Department was dispatched to 75 North Cliff Street for a reported house fire. First companies on scene found a very large 2 1/2 story wood frame with heavy fire showing from the top floor rear. The fire quickly escalated to a 2nd alarm. Members fought a very aggressive interior attack on the 3rd floor before having to be pulled out for a defensive attack. Mutual aid responded from Derby, Seymour, Shelton, and Orange. Twelve occupants safely evacuated on their own without injury.
