Somers, CT had 4 alarms plus special calls at 164 Hampden Rd on 3/7/25 at 19:37. The FD arrived to this 1 million square foot plant growing facility with heavy fire extending fast due to high winds. Firefighters had extremely limited access to the property.

Bolton, CT 3-Alarm that was transmitted shortly after arrival on 1/24/25 at 07:15. The fire was in a commercial cabinet shop that was occupied at the time. At least 10 departments assisted at the scene. Bolton is a very quiet town of about 5000 people that very rarely has a working fire. They catch fires running mutual aid all around them.

Hartford, CT 2nd alarm on arrival by Engine 8 at 227 Ward St on 1/16/25 at 23:50. The building was vacant and had a fire in it about 4 years ago. The main fire building was fully-involved and had extended to 223 Ward St which eventually became well involved.

Manchester, Ct had this 3rd alarm fire at 369 Main St on 12/8/23 at 09:23. The fire was called in by an off duty member passing by. Mutual aid assisted at the scene and the building was torn down before the end of the day.

East Granby, CT had a 3-Alarm fire on arrival for a house at 195 N. Main St engulfed by flames on 7/16/23 at 23:02. The family dog woke the residents up. This was the second multi-alarm of fire of the day for them, a department that does about 250 calls a year.

New Britain, CT had this 2-Alarm fire at 9 Grove Hill on 3/8/22 at 02:20. The police officers came upon this vacant building fire and when the FD arrived they had heavy fire in the building with clutter conditions. Decision was then made to go defensive.
