Bruce Dr. 2nd Alarm Fire (Shelton, CT) 6/22/24
SHELTON, CT – At approximately 6:45pm on June 22, 2024, the Shelton Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Bruce Drive during an intense thunderstorm that was ravaging the area. First companies on scene found heavy fire in the garage of a 1-1/2 story cape loaded with massive amounts of fireworks that were going off as members tried to push into the structure. All family members along with their dog made it to safety before the fire department arrived.
The State Fire Marshal and ATF are investigating this fire.
