Here are a few images from the 2-11 at 25th and Sacramento this afternoon in Chicago (1/30/19). Companies made an aggressive interior attack and went defensive as I was walking up. The first image was taken only a couple minutes after the companies evacuated the building and it appeared conditions deteriorated rapidly.

The Palatine FD (IL) received multiple calls reporting a house on fire at 635 E. Thornhill Drive late Monday night (1/28/19). A header was visible while companies were en route and the response was upgraded to a Code 4 Working Fire. Arriving units found fire traveling up the outside of the house in the B-sector. The fire was extinguished quickly with minimal extension inside the house.

The St Anne Fire Protection District in Kankakee County, IL battled a 3-Alarm house fire at 12750 E 7000 S Road today (1/27/19). The area was without hydrants and a tender shuttle was conducted with about a dozen units.

Palatine, Palatine Rural, and Rolling Meadows firefighters responded to a reported kitchen fire at Durty Nellies at 180 Smith Street in Palatine, IL Friday 1/25/19.

The McCook Fire Department (IL) had a fire come in about 4:00 am Saturday (1/26) morning. The building was a 100×100 semi repair shop. The area has very limited access as well as available hydrants. Temperatures were about -2 degrees making conditions even more difficult.

Shakespeare Theatre fire in Stratford CT

STRATFORD, CT – Shortly before 1:00am on January 13, 2019, the Stratford Fire Department began receiving multiple calls for a fire at the historic Shakespeare Theatre at 320 Shore Rd. First units on scene found the unoccupied, vacant structure heavily involved and immediately started calling for more resources. Mutual aid responded to the scene from Bridgeport and Milford.
