Springfield, MA had this 2-alarm at 140 Wilbraham Ave., the former Springfield High School on 6/27/16 about 1000 hours. Six hours later members still had heavy smoke from the building and put an excavator to work to assist them. I stayed about an hour. More picture’s on my web site. www.squadfirephotos.com

Chicago FD Engine 16 was involved in a 1B accident at 39th and Wallace while responding to a working fire two blocks away 6/15616.  A pin-in response was requested shortly after Engine 16 notified the office that they had been involved.  Squad 1 was held up on the working fire and then continued on to the accident.  The last image shows the minimal damage to the engine.  One member of the engine was transported to Christ Hospital. The following are images of a Box Alarm in Detroit on April 17, 2016.  The address was 13028 Camden St and the call came in at 12:05 p.m.  Typical Detroit going throughout with the successful protection of the “B” side exposure.  People may get tired of seeing the same ole, same ole out of Detroit but as an out-of-towner, it is not something I see every day and it was interesting to watch.  If you’ve never witnessed something like this in person, the heat is immense.  I found it interesting how they used the water curtain to keep the heat down for the firefighter using the exposure line.  Again, not something I see every day and interesting to watch.
