This was around midnight on W. Warren @ Scotten in Detroit. Squad 4 arrived and advised the first engine would be stretching and they had possibly two dwellings going. Engines 39 and 42 both dumped their monitors which pretty much saved the occupied dwelling to the west.

This fire was at Brush & E. Arizona in Detroit on 11/8/18. E44 stretched on a dwelling going throughout. C8 took a defensive posture and pretty much let it go. It had already go into the burned out house to the east and was starting the house to the west. With no other exposures, C8 and companies just let them go. Companies on this box were Engine 44, 35, HPE1, Ladder 18, Squad 3 and Chief 8.
