A dog was reportedly killed in a house fire Wednesday afternoon (2/25/15) in Howards Grove, located in northern Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.
The fire was reported just after 2:30 PM on South Washington Drive in the Village of Howards Grove after the homeowner returned to find heavy smoke from the back of the house. Firefighters reported flames coming from the kitchen window and a deceased dog was recovered. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Fire departments from Howards Grove, Ada, Franklin, Haven, Elkhart Lake and the Town of Sheboygan responded to the house fire.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire on Tuesday, January 27th on the city’s south side near the Sheboygan Paper Box Company.
Engine 1, Rescue 3, Med 3, Battalion Chief responded to the scene. The fire occurred at the time when a communications tower failed, causing radio problems for the police and fire departments.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin firefighters responded to a house fire on the morning of Monday, July 28th around 7 AM.
Firefighters arrived on-scene at 1108 Indiana Avenue to discover smoke. They were informed of two cats that may have been trapped on the second floor. Firefighters rescued two cats while two other pets died.
No persons were reported injured at the scene.

At 1:05 PM on Sunday, June 15th, the Cedar Grove Fire Department was dispatched to a barn fire in southern Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.
The Cedar Grove Fire Department requested MABAS Card 7-1-2 to the 1st Box Level for the fire. The following departments responded: Cedar Grove, Belgium, Oostburg, Adell, Random Lake, Waldo, Silver Creek, Cascade, Town of Wilson, Town of Sheboygan Falls, City of Sheboygan Falls and City of Sheboygan.
The barn was a total loss and some cows were lost.

An early morning fire destroyed part of the St. Lawrence Seminary located at 301 Church Street in Mt. Calvary, in eastern Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. The four-alarm fire was reported Saturday, March 8th around 5:30 AM.
Father John Holly told Wisconsin Public Safety that the fire ignited in the oldest building on the campus, which was built in 1870. He said that 190 students attend St. Lawrence Seminary, which is the nation’s oldest Catholic High School Seminary.
About three dozen fire departments from Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Calumet, and Washington counties assisted the Mt. Calvary Fire Department. No injuries were reported according to officials and all students and staff are safe. Firefighters said the building is considered a total loss.
