On 1/15/2022, the Ashland, Holderness, and New Hampton (NH) Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported building fire just down the road from the Ashland fire station. Crews arrived quickly and reported heavy smoke and fire showing. A second-alarm was requested bringing in more towns from around the Lakes Region. Hampering firefighting efforts were temperatures hovering around 0-degrees and moderate winds pushing the wind chill down to about negative 20-degrees.

On 8/1/2020, Boston (MA) Fire cover companies acting in District 11 responded to a reported fire in Brighton. While the initial location had no fire showing, a returning engine company found the fire down the street and restruck the box.

On 7/27/2020, Quincy Fire Alarm dispatched companies to a reported fire in the rear of a home on Hanna Street. On arrival companies found the entire rear of the building on fire with flames threatening exposures. A second alarm was struck immediately, bringing additional Quincy companies to the scene. Crews fought the fire defensively and requested a third and eventually a fourth alarm due to the location of the fire building and heat index which was hovering around 100 degrees. On 7/2/2020, Boston Fire Department Tower Ladder 10 was dispatched for a confirmed structure fire in District 9. While responding on South Huntington Avenue, it was involved in an accident with an SUV, puncturing the right front tire, tearing off an outrigger, and causing additional cosmetic damage to the apparatus. Multiple BFD command staff and mechanics, along with Boston EMS and Boston Police, responded to the scene and assisted five members of Tower Ladder 10 as well as the occupants of the SUV. All members of the company were transported as a precaution. The cause is under investigation.

On 6/28/2020, Cambridge Fire Alarm struck a box for a reported fire on Cambridge Street. Companies found a fire between the first and second floors and after it was determined it had extended to the second floor, a second alarm was called.
As companies were fighting this fire, another fire broke out about five minutes away on Harvard Street when a dumpster next to a building caught fire. Boston Ladder 15, covering a Cambridge firehouse, was first due and reported the fire was extending to the building. Additional mutual aid companies responded to Harvard Street, and as the Cambridge St fire was placed under control some units were cleared and responded directly to the second fire.

On 6/18/2020, Billerica Fire dispatched companies to a structure fire on Riveredge Road. Heavy fire was showing on arrival and a second alarm was struck, bringing all Billerica companies and a Burlington engine to the scene. Additional engines were requested, with Chelmsford and Bedford responding on a modified third alarm. The building was a complete loss.

On 6/27/2020, Quincy Fire Alarm struck a box for a reported fire on Janet Road. Companies had smoke showing from a distance and a second alarm was struck soon after arrival. Heavy fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes.
