On 2/5/2020, Boston Fire Alarm dispatched companies to a reported fire on East Seventh Street in the South Boston neighborhood of the city. While companies were responding multiple calls came in reporting the fire, and Engine 2 and Ladder 19 called off with heavy smoke and fire showing from a building under construction. Within 10 minutes a second and third alarm were struck, with a fourth alarm sounded not long after. Companies dealt with heavy fire on all floors and battled exposure problems. Multiple aerial master streams were utilized to knock down heavy fire before transitioning to an interior attack. The fire was under control in about an hour and a half, and a detail crew stayed overnight. More photos can be found here: Sean Fesko/911 ERV
