Monday night (2/16/16) we took in a job at Harrison and Central Park in Chicago. Engine 95 landed with a fire in a one-story commercial. 95 had a line lead out, Truck 26 had their main to the roof.
The Trinidad neighborhood was the scene of a working fire on the evening of Tuesday, June 2nd. The blaze was reported shortly before 9PM in a two-story condo building at 1218 Staples Street NE. First arriving units reported smoke from the roof and fire showing from an airshaft in the rear.
Firefighters gained access to find fire on the first floor that extended above to the second floor and attic. A working fire dispatch was sounded as lines attacked the fire on all levels while trucks opened up to expose hidden flames in the walls.
The blaze was brought under control without injuries to firefighters or civilians.
