Cicero (IL) had a working fire Wednesday, 1/20/16 at 1401 s 48th ct. F-7 arrived on-scene to with smoke showing from the first and second floors of a two-sty ordinary on the corner. Engine 1 lead out a line to the first floor and Truck 2 had their main to the roof. Engine 2 lead out a second line off Engine 1’s wye to the 2nd floor. Companies made a quick aggressive interior attack and knocked it within a of couple mins.

Here are some photos and a video of the Box Alarm Apartment Fire in Cicero, IL on 1-11-16 at 1401 51st Ct.

Companies arrived on scene with smoke showing from the eves and fire on the second floor. They initially went for an interior attack, vented the roof letting fire through the roof. At that point they had fire on the third floor, companies pulled out and went defensive requesting a box alarm with a special request for Forest Park’s tower.

Cicero (IL) companies responded to a reported apartment fire at 1401 51st Court early Monday afternoon (1/11/16). Arriving companies had smoke at the eaves of the three-story, frame, multi-unit building. After companies were forced out of the structure they setup for defensive operations and upgraded to a Box Alarm about 30 minutes later.

Several hand lines were used as well as master streams from Cicero Truck 2, Stickney Truck 1201, and Cicero Truck 1. There was a special call for the Forest Park tower ladder which went into service after Cicero Truck 1 was shut down. All Cicero engines were pumping in addition engines from Stickney and Lyons.

The Cicero Fire Department (IL) responded to a very well-involved building fire on Ogden Avenue during afternoon rush hour traffic on Wednesday, June 17th. As companies went enroute they reported a large black header in the sky. The fire was in a two-story, ordinary, auto body shop, 100×75. Companies encountered heavy fire on arrival and used three master streams and multiple handlines to knock down most of the fire. Companies on scene were: Cicero E1, E2, E3, T1, T2, F-7, F-10, F-12, and Berwyn T904.

Took in a 20×20 alley garage at 2420 S 60th Ct, Cicero (IL)  yesterday. Cicero Engines 1 & 2 each dropped a line and made a good stop, confining the fire to just the one garage. Slight exposure to the D Side garage. One pick-up truck was destroyed in the fire.
