Kitchener (ON) firefighters were dispatched for a fire under a machine June 7 at 5:35. Firefighters have been to this building numerous times over the years for similar fires. The fires are usually knocked down quickly with minimal damage. This fire was tougher to knock down, firefighters had to use high expansion foam. Damage could run as high as $500,000 to the machine. P1 was second due pump on this call. Very busy shift for them, they didn’t clear a shed fire behind their station until 3:30. Box 690 provided rehab.
