Here are some photos from the alley garage fire on 22nd Ave on Thursday in Broadview, IL. They arrived to fire in the garage, pulled one line and made a quick knock.
Waterloo, Ontario Pump 2 was dispatched to a grass fire behind a large mall on the west side of town April 20, 2016 at 12:45. Dispatch advised they were getting multiple calls reporting flames six feet high. P2 could see smoke from a mile away and requested P1, Tank 1, and the PC to be added to the call. The fire started beside a tee of the par 3 golf course located beside the mall, and quickly spread into a marshy area. Firefighters picked up two hydrants and pulled multiple lines to knock the fire down. The fire was declared out an hour after arrival. This was the first of two grass fires in the city requiring a multiple station response. Box 690 provided rehab at both calls.

Chief 9 reported smoke showing before even going on scene, Engine 50 went on scene and reported they were stretching on a dwelling. Chief 9 arrived on scene and reported a two-story vacant dwelling with fire throughout and that they were going to take a defensive posture.
We were about 15 minutes away when companies started going en route.
Cambridge, Ontario firefighters were dispatched to 275 Blair Road for a possible structure fire April 19 2016 at 21:27. P5 arrived on scene reporting flames visible from the roof. Firefighters worked for an hour to knock the fire down. Damage will exceed $250,000. Box 690 was on scene two hours providing rehab; our fourth call in two days in Cambridge.
Wheeling (IL) firefighters were called to 298 Tilbury Lane in the Whippletree Village just before 3AM on Monday, 4-18-16. When units arrived they reported fire in a mobile home and upgraded to the Code 4 for the working fire. The flames were knocked down within 10 minutes and they were on the scene doing overhaul for another hour. Mutual aid units came from Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, and Northbrook. I arrived just after the 10-minute time stamp.
Cicero’s 2nd fire of the day (4-15-16), a 2.5 sty, wood frame at 6006 29th Street with some fire showing in the rear. Looked to be most of the fire was in the walls and attic. I arrived and took some pictures before command pulled the Box. Josh Boyajian
Kitchener, Ontario fire dispatch received multiple 911 calls for a house fire at 50 Breithaupt Street April 15, 2016 at 2:45. Responding firefighters could see a large glow enroute to the call. P2 arrived on scene reporting heavy fire in an attached garage with extension to two other homes. Twenty five firefighters worked two hours to knock the fire down. Two firefighters were slightly injured in a flashover on the second floor. Damage has been set at $500,000. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to assist with the investigation. Box 690 on scene 6.5 hours providing rehab.
