Box 2800 was toned out for a reported deck fire on Tuesday, Feb. 24 3040 Holmes Run Road in Falls Church, VA.  The first arriving units encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from the house and a full working fire dispatch was quickly sounded.  The house contained a large amount of items and combustibles making the fire difficult to contain.  Smoke continued to pour from the house for hours after the initial firefight began.  Foam was applied to the house towards the end of the operation.

Fairfax County (VA) firefighters responded to the report of a townhouse on fire Monday morning (11/10/14) in the Herndon/Frying Pan area.  On arrival with smoke and fire showing from the 3rd floor level of the townhouse complex, BC401 quickly upgraded the call to a 2nd alarm bringing in RIT Level 1 and other support resources.  Loudon County provided mutual aid.  Firefighters attacked the fire using aerial and tower ladders.

Extensive overhaul took place due to firefighters having to chase active fire and hot spots remaining in the attic crawl spaces.
