On Saturday, November 19th, the Chicago Fire Department responded to the report of a house fire shortly after sunrise. The Englewood Fire Alarm Office had received two different locations and the first engine arrived at the first address with nothing showing. The alarm office advised they were also getting calls for 74th Street and Engine 54 landed with a fire a few seconds later. The residence was occupied but no one was at home at the time.

Still And Box Alarm at 4547 S. Wolcott in Chicago on July 4th
On 3/9/14 near 1500 hours the 8th District FD (Manchester, Ct) was dispatched to 39 Buckland St. for numerous calls reporting a structure fire in an apartment building. The 2nd alarm was struck as companies were still blocks away due to the smoke condition they drove through. Companies arrived to find fire venting out the rear of this 3-story (2 floors in front, 3 in the rear) wood frame apartment building with people evacuating. Mutual aid for another ladder company was requested on arrival. Once the tower ladder was put to work the fire was knocked down quickly. MFRE Truck 2, Engine 5, Car 22 and Vernon ET-241 assisted at the scene with other departments covering the stations.
