Here are some images taken at Chicago’s second still and box alarm on Saturday morning (12/28). This came in at the same time that companies were working at the box on 48th Place. It was interesting to see Squad 1 working at 112th and State Street. Eric Haak

At 0445 Sunday morning (12/23), Chicago FD Engine 75 landed at 117th and LaSalle Street and reported they had a fire in a 2.5-story frame. A few minutes later, Battalion 22 asked for a box and stated he had fire in two buildings. There was a fair amount of fire in the attic of the frame structure as companies forced entry but they eventually were able to access the attic and knock it down before the fire could gain any headway.

I took in the Box in Chicago’s 22nd Battalion this afternoon (4/26/16) at 254 W. 118th Street. They had a pretty decent sized 3-sty ordinary with heavy fire thru the roof. Companies were defensive with two master streams and two handlines. I arrived after most of the fire was knocked but here are some shots.
