Here are some great old color images from a 3-11 alarm in Chicago on July 24, 1966. The fire was at 2348 S. Federal and from other images I have of this fire, it appeared to be long, wooden store houses that were filled with used tires. The engine you see is Engine 104 and the other rig is lettered and numbered Squad 8.

Great shots of the 1954 Mack Engine which was Engine 104 and the 1954 Autocar Squad 8.
They both shared quarters at 1401 S Michigan along with Truck 31 and I believe that 218 (the south side 2nd Deputy Marshall. At the time there were 3 2nd Deputy Field Marshals and they were identified as 217 (Downtown and West side) 218 (South Side) and 219 (North Side)
