At approx. 22:00 hours on June 23, Frederick County Fire & Rescue was toned out for a multi-family structure with smoke showing at Farmgate Ct. Upon arrival firefighters encountered heavy fire from the basement with extension through half of the duplex. A second alarm was sounded for rapid intervention and manpower. Two special alarms brought the canteen unit, air unit, and Rescue Squad 20 for air supply. The fire was brought under control and an extensive overhaul was performed with the scene packing up after approx. 24:00 hours.
