Cambridge, Ontario fire dispatch received a 911 call at 2:40 February 29, 2016 reporting a house fire beside 135 Queen Street East. Four of the five Cambridge stations were dispatched to the fire. Nineteen firefighters staffing two quints, two pumpers, heavy rescue, and the platoon chief responded to the call. A1 arrived on scene first and reported they had a fully-involved house fire. Three 1.75″ lines were pulled by firefighters to attack the fire. Crews worked for two hours to totally extinguish the blaze. Damage will exceed $200,000. All occupants of the house got out safely after neighbors alerted them that their house was on fire. Box 690 provided rehab.
