New Britain, CT had this 2-Alarm fire at 9 Grove Hill on 3/8/22 at 02:20. The police officers came upon this vacant building fire and when the FD arrived they had heavy fire in the building with clutter conditions. Decision was then made to go defensive.

Made it to a scrap yard fire at 4430 W 14th Street in Chicago. Engine 103 was first in as they were on a COQ at 38’s house while 38 was at a fire in the 1400 blk of Avers. Engine 113 went in-line pumping to feed 103 and Squad 1 to get a knock on this pile of scrap. Companies on the Still were Engines 103 & 113, Trucks 19 & 26, Squad 1, Battalion 18, & 2-2-4.
2-11 Alarm fire in a vacant church on Chicago’s Northwest Side 2-23-22
HAMDEN, CT – At approximately 7pm on February 14, 2022, the Hamden Fire Department was dispatched to 42 Warner Street for a structure fire with multiple calls. A 2nd alarm was called while companies were on route. First arriving units on the scene found heavy fire through the roof and out several windows of the Warner Village Apartments. In all, a 3 alarms were struck as fire took hold of the whole 22 unit apartment complex in the frigid 18 degree weather. Fifty people were displaced with no injuries reported at this time. Mutual aid came from New Haven, North Haven, Cheshire, and Wallingford.

Firefighters in Wheeling, IL were dispatched to a house fire at 326 Renee Terrace just after 8PM on 2/5/22. Companies arrived to find heavy smoke and flames from a small ranch house. Snow piled against the hydrant in front of the house caused a slight delay in achieving a positive water supply but an aggressive interior attack darkened the fire quickly.
