07/05/16 – Firefighters battle heavy fire conditions in this partially occupied row home. An aggressive attack kept the fire from running the entire structure.
New Haven 2nd alarm 24 Downing St dwelling fire 08/14/16
New Haven (CT) firefighters were called to this address for an early morning dwelling fire. Companies found a heavy fire condition on the first floor of a two and a half wood frame, dwelling. Multiple lines were stretched as the heavy fire extended to the second floor. The house was occupied at the time of the morning fire. Initially, there were reports of one civilian unaccounted for, however the primary and secondary searches proved negative. Firefighters were able to knock the fire down within forty five minutes, but not before heavy damage was done to the home. Multiple civilians were left homeless as a result.
Springfield, MA 2nd alarm at 140 Wilbraham Ave 06/27/16 – Companies arrived to find a heavy smoke condition emanating from a multi-story, mill building. An interior attack was quickly initiated, but was transitioned to an exterior attack due to deep seated fire conditions within the building. A second alarm was transmitted on the box bringing an additional two engines and truck. Companies set up for a long duration defensive fight.
The fire burned for more than six hours with conditions worsening due to a steady wind blowing. The fire would spread to the number four side wing before an excavator breached a wall and allowed firefighters to gain access to the deep seated fire.
The blaze was declared under control some eight hours after the initial alarm. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the marshals and Massachusetts State Police. Several firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion on scene.
Southington 3rd alarm 315 Main St. Vacant commercial building
06/15/16 Southington, CT – An early evening fire tore through a vacant commercial building shortly after six p.m. Firefighters found heavy smoke showing from a one and two-story, ordinary constructed building. An interior attack was attempted, but firefighters were unable to make headway. An exterior operation was initiated using one tower and multiple hand lines to darken down the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown and being investigated. There were no injuries.

Southington, Ct had this general alarm fire at 315 Main St. on 6/15/16 about 1800 hours. The building was a 1 to 2-story in the rear vacant commercial building. More pictures
04/08/16 Wallingford, CT – Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from the roof of a condo complex. Multiple lines were stretched as trucks opened up to find a fire condition in the attic area of the unit. Companies made an interior attack and held the fire to two units within the large complex. The fire took about an hour to bring under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was home at the time of the fire.
