I was one of two photographers requested by the Hartford, Ct. FD to take pictures of the funeral of Firefighter Kevin Bell who died while operating at a 2nd alarm fire at 598 Blue Hills Ave. on 10/7/14. While these pictures are not of the fire they are the reality of what can and does happen to members while operating at fires. It was an honor to take the pictures while at the same time it is an uncomfortable experience.
