A few pictures from a working fire in Hartford, Ct on 4/20/17. This fire at 33 Acton St was the second WF in an hour. I arrived with the 1st due engine who came from the first WF which I came from also.
On 1/5/17 at 2146 hours, Hartford, CT north-end companies were dispatched to the area of Deerfield Ave & Greenfield St. for a structure fire. First due Engine 14 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a vacant building at 59 Deerfield Ave. Companies made a good push in knocking down fire on floor’s #1&2 but were unable to get into the attic due to holes in the floors. Hartford, CT north-end companies had this working fire at 230 Vine St. at 0529 hours on 3/5/16. One occupant jumped prior to the FD’s arrival and was transported to the hospital. One member was also injured and transported. More pictures
At 0303 hours Hartford, CT was dispatched to Barbour & Judson St’s for numerous calls reporting a row of stores on fire. Engine 7 arrived reporting heavy fire showing. Engine 2’s deck gun and the tower ladders made a quick knockdown.
Hartford, CT had this 2nd alarm at 9 Carpenter St at 2359 hours on 8/23/15. Neighbors reported the AC unit was on fire and Ladder 5 arrived to heavy fire showing. The majority of these companies had a working fire only 3 hours earlier on Jefferson St.
Hartford, CT had this 3rd alarm at 619 Park St. on 7/27/15 just before 2300 hours. Members had a heavy smoke condition and very difficult access to the building. Two members and one civilian were injured. I was working so I didn’t arrive until after 0300.
