Industrial fire in Chicago Heights, IL – February 11, 2014

Images from Tim Olk of an industrial fire at the Gerresheimer Glass Co., 1131 Arnold Street in Chicago Heights, IL. The fire involved a furnace that spewed molten glass which was further complicated after a steam explosion.

Tim Olk and Josh Boyajian were on-scene at Chicago’s 2-11 Alarm fire Friday at 2521 W.45th Place. The fire scene became a crime scene when the body of a woman, with multiple stab wounds was found inside the building.

House fire in Twin Lakes, WI – January 31, 2014

On Friday, the Twin Lakes Fire Department, Randall Fire Department, Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Richmond Fire Departments responded to a house  fire in the 1500 block of Skinner Drive in Twin Lakes. They found heavy fire from the rear of the home on arrival. A MABAS box alarm requested which brought engines from Wheatland and Randall, a tender from the Town of Salem Fire/Rescue and Spring Grove (IL).

As of 1PM (Sunday), the Lynwood (IL) Fire Department (along the Indiana border) is working a 2nd Alarm for the fully involved house fire at 3039 196th Street. Tim Olk is at the scene and submitted these images from his phone.
