Detroit Box Alarm Edison and McQuade, four-flat dwelling. Firefighters from the 5th battalion had heavy fire throughout a four-flat dwelling fanned by thirty mph sustained winds.
09/12/15 Bridgeport, CT – A box was transmitted by fire alarm shortly before three a.m. for the report of a vacant dwelling fire in the area of Stratford and Hollister Avenues. Firefighters from Engine 6 could see the fire from their quarters as they turned out. Battalion 2 arrived reporting a two and a half story,wood-frame with heavy fire on the second and third floors. Companies went defensive right away deploying multiple hand lines, two multiversals, and the tower ladder. The fire was knocked down in about an hour. The cause of the fire is suspicious. 09/04/15 Bridgeport, CT – Firefighters responded to this location just after noon time and found numerous small fires throughout the structure. They were back an hour later to find one section of the factory complex with heavy smoke and fire showing. Companies made an interior push, but had to back out due to water pressure issues. The fire grew in intensity and a defensive operation was started. Six engines, two trucks and the fireboat fought the fire for an hour an a half to bring it under control. This complex has been the scene of numerous fires over the years.
07/06/15 Detroit, MI – On our way back from a false alarm we saw a loom up in the sky and came across this large outside rubbish fire at 7774 Bryden with Engine 42. They requested a truck and stretched.
07/06/15 Detroit, MI – East side companies found this three-story, wood-frame at 8304 St. Cyrill vacant going throughout. Companies went offensive due to the close proximity of a similar sized number two exposure. Engines 46 and 50 both dumped their monitors as companies deployed hand lines.
07/05/15 Detroit, MI – From the commercial building fire we took in this vacant dwelling up north in Chief 8’s district. This was the last fire of the day which occurred just before shift change.

Detroit, Mi – While making our way back the hotel from the Sarena ST job we could see black smoke in the distance. We followed it and came across this commercial building fire with no one around but two police officers. The building would collapse before the arrival of the fire department.
