Just came back from a quick trip to Detroit. Here are a few quick images of a Box Alarm at 9337 Decatur Street on Saturday, October 10th.  Heavily involved on arrival, companies were defensive from the start.  Ladder 14 was working their aerial but a lot of trees made it hard to get a good shot.

Here are some images of a Box Alarm in Detroit on August 21st.  This was on Wanda Street between Louisiana and Nevada.  Companies were defensive on arrival.  The neat thing about this is that Engine 56 was only about 4 hours old at this point.  They had taken delivery of their new rig earlier in the afternoon and this was it’s first fire.  They did use their deck gun for a short period of time.

07/06/15 Detroit, MI – East side companies found this three-story, wood-frame at 8304 St. Cyrill vacant going throughout. Companies went offensive due to the close proximity of a similar sized number two exposure. Engines 46 and 50 both dumped their monitors as companies deployed hand lines.
