A few pictures from a working fire in Hartford, Ct on 4/20/17. This fire at 33 Acton St was the second WF in an hour. I arrived with the 1st due engine who came from the first WF which I came from also.

2-alarm fire in Manchester, Ct on 4/12/17 at 0354 hours. Dispatchers started receiving calls from drivers passing by on Interstate 84 reporting smoke from a building. First-due Engine 5 arrived to heavy smoke showing from a 1-story, 75 X 150 package store. Car 22 (shift commander) arrived and struck the 2nd with an additional engine and ladder above the 2nd to the fire. They went defensive right away due to the building construction and amount of smoke/fire. Mutual aid from Manchester 8th District D and East Hartford assisted at the scene.

At 09:50 hours Windsor, Ct started receiving calls for 1181 Matianuck Ave. On arrival they had heavy smoke and fire showing. Blue Hills FD assisted at the scene with the exterior operation. More photos

Wethersfield, Ct had this working fire at 605 Nott St on 1/15/17 about 0300. A police officer on patrol noticed smoke from the house the called the FD. No one was home at the time. More pictures

On 1/5/17 at 2146 hours, Hartford, CT north-end companies were dispatched to the area of Deerfield Ave & Greenfield St. for a structure fire. First due Engine 14 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a vacant building at 59 Deerfield Ave. Companies made a good push in knocking down fire on floor’s #1&2 but were unable to get into the attic due to holes in the floors. Command decided then to go defensive. Two extra engines and an addition ladder were special called. More pictures at www.squadfirephotos.com
