20 November 2015, Baden Ontario firefighters were dispatched for a grain bin fire at 3702 Sandhills Road at 10:00. Enroute to the fire they called for a full response from New Dundee plus a tanker and quint from New Hamburg. Once on scene they reported a smoldering fire in a large new grain bin. Firefighters had to cut holes in the side of the bin to access the fire. The fire was under control in two hours, but crews were rotated to the scene throughout the day until the fire was declared out at 23:30 once the bin was totally emptied.
Box 690 on scene for two hours at the beginning of the fire and was called back to supply lunch for crews at 13:30.
