Crystal Lake (IL) Box Alarm on box #5-342 for the house fire at 62 Barberry Drive. Engine 344 arrived with a small single-story home and heavy fire showing from the C Side. Engine 344 dropped a 2 1/2 line. Tower 381 backed down to set up and McHenry Engine 44 supplied water to them from the hydrant down the street. Multiple lines were dropped and operating . Defensive attack on the fire due to a collapse in the roof and small explosions.
West Chicago Special Alarm at @ 923 Gates The call came in as a basement fire. Companies arrived to find fire in the basement. It traveled up a plumbing wall into the dormer on the second floor. Fire was under control in about 30 minutes using four handlines.

At approximately 1725 hours on Thursday, the Cicero Fire Department received calls of a residential structure fire on the 3500 block of South 56th Court. First companies on scene reported heavy fire from the rear of a 25 x 30, 1-story home. The fire was brought under control in under 10 minutes.
