Some photos of a fire 10/16/22 in Waterloo, IL involving a two-story farmhouse with a 1 1/2-story addition. It was an occupied dwelling with everyone safely outside. Mutual aid included companies from Columbia and Valmeyer.

Here are some shots from a little working fire on October 2nd @ 3717 S Hermitage in Chicago. Engine 39 had a quick knock on the fire and contained it to the living room. Members also rescued 2 dogs from the fire unit. Chi-Town Fire Photos
10/12/22 Shelton, CT – A civilian burning cardboard let his fire get out of control, and it spread quickly, igniting nearby piles of cardboard and tires. This pile exposed to the connex box, which it was stacked up against. The box became fully involved and exposed to two autos behind it. Two hand lines and a multi-versal were used to knock down the heavy volume of fire. Companies had extensive overhaul. The town fire marshal is investigating.

North River Fire District responded to a fire in a residence in Palmetto,FL. Crews found fire in an attached garage spreading into the house, and eventually engulfing the rear of the home. The house sustained heavy damage, and firefighters rescued a cat from the home. This area had incurred a power outage from Hurricane Ian, and power had just been restored to the home. It’s unknown whether or not that caused the fire.
Blue Island, Illinois had a box alarm on Sept. 21st, 2022 in a 2-sty, brick home that was well-involved when the first companies arrived. An aggressive interior attack by Blue Island and Posen firefighters resulted in a victim being pulled out. Companies were hampered by the overgrowth around the property and the overhead powerlines running in front. Most photos can be seen here:
August 6, 2022: Detroit MI fire fighters fought a fully-involved, vacant dwelling at Rohns and E. Canfield.
Assigned companies to the incident: Engines 9, 32, 41, 46, 52, Ladder 6, Squad3, Chief 6, 2 DEMS, and DEMS Supervisor.
