Chicago firefighters at a working Still Alarm & Level 1 Hazmat at 110th Place and Loomis around 11:30 Thursday morning (3/22/18). Some type of explosion occurred, partial collapse on C & D sides. Companies were defensive until Peoples Gas could secure the area. Sq-5 snorkel and several hand lines were in use. Neighbors report the building was vacant.
Chicago firefighters battled a commercial building fire that extended to a second building at 10522 S. Ewing Avenue 3/9/18. The alarm was elevated to a 2-11 with an EMS Plan I for civilian injuries.
