Waterloo Ontario firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at 558 Roy Schmidt Road May 19 at 19:35. Three pumps, a quint aerial, and platoon chief responded to the fire. An abandoned two-story house was fully-involved on arrival. Crews pulled two 2.5” lines to protect exposures and control spot fires from burning embers. Waterloo Fire investigators have called in the Ontario Fire Marshal for assistance in determining the cause. Box 690 provided rehab for three hours.
