Here are some photos from my recent Detroit trip.
These first few are from a pin job on Gratiot and Marcus. A five car accident with two people going to area hospitals and one person needing extrication. Engine 46 and Squad 3 operated. 11-02-13

Glenn Duda took in the Manchester 3-Alarm fire last week and submitted several images.
10/12/13 Manchester, CT – A three alarm fire ripped through a century old building, housing businesses and apartments above. Firefighters were called to the building around nine thirty on the report of smoke in the hallway. Firefighters found a deep seated basement fire. They were unable to control the fire and had to pull out for an exterior attack. The fire went to three alarms bringing departments from throughout Hartford County. The fire was brought under control several hours later. The building was a total loss and had to be torn down after the fire. The cause of the fire in under investigation by the state fire marshal.

Glenn Duda submitted these images from a fire today in West Haven, CT.
West Haven, CT – 1003 Post Rd. Gino’s Steakhouse
The City of West Haven fire alarm received multiple calls for a restaurant on fire shortly before 8:30 a.m. this morning.
First due units arrived to find heavy smoke and fire erupting from the establishment. The restaurant had been closed for several weeks for a remodel project. A second and third alarm were quickly transmitted bringing all of the city’s companies to work. The fire took about an hour to bring under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
