Manchester, Ct. had heavy fire showing from the front porch at 11-13 Park St on 5/27/15 at 1629 hours. Numerous mutual aid assisted at the scene due to extension into the house.
Meriden, Ct responded to 525 Crown St on 5/9/15 about noon for numerous calls reporting a building fire with people trapped and jumping. Due to the volume of calls and large column of smoke seen while responding, Car 3 struck the 2nd alarm before companies arrived.
On arrival members had heavy fire conditions in an apartment building. One civilian was found burned on the ground outside. I was told there was an explosion after members entered the building. Two members were also transported to the hospital, one having burns. Many mutual aid departments assisted at the scene and covering other calls. Later in the day Meriden had another working fire which was handled by mutual aid companies.
Hartford, Ct had this 3-alarm at 2604 Main St on 4/16/15 @1832 hours. Ladder 3 struck the 2nd on arrival with Car 2 striking the 3rd. More pictures on my site.
Hartford, Ct had this 2-alarm fire on 4/8/15 at 1925 hours. This building was the D-side exposure from another 2-alarm that burned in November of 2014. Two members were injured and transported to the hospital from this fire.
Hartford, Ct had this 2nd alarm on 4/2/15 at 1363 Main St. Fire was in a vacant four-story brick. Even though it was a vacant, Ladder 3 members rescued one person via ground ladder on their arrival.
