Friday (10/23/15) just before noon, a semi-tanker rolled over on the US 41 northbound off-ramp to Lineville Road in Suamico, Wisconsin. The tanker was carrying diesel fuel. Officials say it looks like the tanker was exiting from US 41 when it rolled over while trying to go through the roundabout at the top of the off ramp.

The Green Bay Metro Fire Dept. says the fire at Smitty’s Salvage Yard, 2325 Main St., started outside and since spread to the building. The building that started on fire had tires in it. 30 fire departments from as far as Pulaski and Manitowoc County assisted at the scene. The fire was caused during the removal of a vehicle gas tank; gas leaking from the tank caught fire. This was an accidental fire.  One firefighter sustained minor injuries.
