Kenosha firefighters responded to a dumpster fire at 30th Avenue & Roosevelt Road on Tuesday night during the third night of civil unrest.
Firefighters extinguished the fire before it could spread to the Pizza Hut and a nearby house.

The Kenosha Fire Department responded to multiple structure fires as a result of riots on Monday, August 24, 2020. Fire departments from Illinois and Wisconsin responded to the city. Video by Asher Heimermann/Incident Response.

08/24/20 – Night two of protests in Kenosha,WI led to several business looted and set ablaze. The largest were several storefronts along 22nd ave. Kenosha activated a MABAS response to the 5th alarm bringing in several Illinois departments. Most sat in the staging area much of the night, but crews from Zion, Newport, Gurnee, and several others were put to work.  Jeff Rudolph

These were all City of Kenosha DPW trucks that were set on fire. Due to firefighter and officer safety concerns, the Kenosha Fire Department did not respond to any of these vehicle fires Sunday night.During the early morning hours of Monday, KFD requested a working still for several fires in the city.

The Milwaukee Fire Department battled a 4th alarm fire at Aguilar’s Welding on West National Avenue near South 12th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday, July 19, 2019. Plumes of smoke were visible from the Marquette Interchange. Extreme heat and hazardous building contents were making it hard for firefighters to extinguish the fire.

The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a fire in the Furniture Depot store at 2523 West Lincoln Avenue on Milwaukee’s south side on Saturday, April 13th. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the front of the store engulfed in flames. A second alarm was called before being elevated to a third alarm. The fire completely destroyed the store and damaged nearby businesses and a home.

Firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire for several hours on Saturday, August 18th at Family Dollar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The fire was reported around 3:45 PM at the corner of Hampton Avenue and Teutonia Avenue. The building had a bowstring truss roof. Firefighters from the Milwaukee Fire Department and neighboring North Shore Fire Rescue responded. Milwaukee Police took one person into custody in connection with the fire.

Firefighters from multiple Sheboygan County, Wisconsin fire departments responded to a 4-alarm apartment fire Wednesday in Sheboygan Falls.

Shortly after 11 AM on Wednesday, August 10th, City of Sheboygan Falls and Village of Kohler fire departments were originally dispatched to a structure fire at 1046 Happy Lane near Highway 32 around 11 AM. First responding police officers reported seeing thick black smoke coming from an apartment complex and later reported the second floor fully involved in fire.

Additional fire departments from; Town of Sheboygan Falls, Cedar Grove, Ada, Waldo, Town of Sheboygan, Johnsonville, Town of Wilson, and Cascade were called to assist in putting out the fire.

No injuries were reported. The eight unit apartment complex was destroyed. The heat index at the time of the fire was near 90.
